Educational City Tour Organized for Students

On October 29 of this year, an educational city tour was organized by the lecturers of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, Abdreeva S.T. and Adilbay B.S., for third-year students majoring in «6B11101 – Tourism» as part of the fourth Sustainable Development Goal: «Quality Education» and in accordance with the curriculum for the course «Excursion Studies».

During the tour, students were introduced to the city’s landmarks and architectural sites. The excursion began at Abay Square, where students received historical and engaging information about sites such as the Palace of the Republic, the Abay Monument, the «Kazakhstan» Hotel, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, among others.
