The Department of Chinese Studies established a partnership with "Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan" LLP within the framework of SDG "Partnership for Sustainable Development"

On October 24, 2024 representatives of "Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan" LLP visited the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The delegation consisting of the specialist of HR department Parpiyeva Alina, senior interpreter Nurzhanov Erkhan and interpreter Shukanova Aigerim met with the students of the department. During the meeting the representatives of the company told in detail about the new automobile factory under construction on the outskirts of Almaty city. This factory on manufacture of passenger cars of known brands together with Chinese automobile companies has a huge scale. In the future, this enterprise, which plays a significant role in the economy of Almaty, is ready to supply its products around the world. The head of the department discussed a number of issues concerning further cooperation with this institution. At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the company conducted interviews with senior students of the department. Both sides came to an agreement that students of the department in the future will undergo industrial practice at this enterprise.
