The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNAIU) hosted an open screening of the documentary "Six inches of Soil", organized jointly with the British Embassy in Kazakhstan. The film, dedicated to topical issues of sustainable development and conservation of soil resources, attracted the attention of students and the scientific community.

Doctoral students and professors of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were invited to the show. Representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took an active part in the event to expand their knowledge on sustainable development issues and exchange views with colleagues and specialists.

The documentary "Six Inches of Soil" explores the importance of soil in the context of global efforts for sustainable development and environmental conservation. The painting highlights the role of soil as a key resource for agriculture, ecosystems and the general well-being of mankind. The film also addresses issues of climate change, biological diversity and sustainable organic farming methods.

Professors and students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University stressed the importance of such events for scientific exchange and the formation of interuniversity cooperation, especially in the context of global environmental challenges.
