Civil service in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 31, 2024, an open lecture was held at Al-Farabi KazNU by Dr. Zh.A. Kegembayeva, Doctor of Law and Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law. The lecture on administrative law was dedicated to the organization of public service in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the session, the main aspects of the legal regulation of public service, the administrative and legal status of civil servants, and current issues related to public service reform in the country were discussed in detail.
The significance of the lecture was underscored by the fact that it was aimed at second-year students studying in the fields of "Public Service" and "Law Enforcement." Professor Zh.A. Kegembayeva noted that preparing future professionals with a deep knowledge and understanding of the legal norms governing public service plays an important role in developing effective law enforcement practices in Kazakhstan.
The students showed great interest in the topic and actively participated in the discussion. Faculty members who attended the lecture highly appreciated the interesting and informative presentation, noting the importance of such an approach in education, which fosters a deep understanding of the subject and motivates students to further explore administrative law.
