Performing Arts as a Path to Sustainable Development: Visit of Faculty and Students of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology to the G. Musrepov Theater
On October 30, 2024, under the guidance of faculty members Turdibuvi Masymzhanovna Kazakbayeva and Marzhan Sansyzbaykyzy Ospanova, along with the senior curator of the Faculty, Almaz Medetzhanovich Alimbayev, first- and fourth-year students from the Hydrology educational program of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences visited the Gabit Musrepov State Academic Theater for Children and Youth. The event was held in alignment with SDG 5 – "Gender Equality" and SDG 16 – "Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions."
The students attended a performance of The Girl with the Red Scarf, based on the work of the legendary Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. Each work by Aitmatov, a humanist and profound thinker, is a poetic ode to greatness. Every story he created is a world of illusions, a key to many mysterious souls.
