November 01, 2024, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of "Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law" Useinova K.R. visited the pre-summit QS Higher Education: Asia Pacific 2024 at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, dedicated to the issues of higher education.
The summit was attended by Jason Newman, Chief Commercial Officer of QS Quacquarelli Symonds, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebaev, Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosaev, Regional Director for Client Partnerships in EAEU and Global Government of QS Sergey Khristolyubov.
Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev delivered a welcoming speech to the participants.
During the event the Minister of Science and Higher Education of RK Sayasat Nurbek made a report on the ongoing work of domestic universities on the development of higher education and science. The Minister noted that 21 Kazakhstani universities participate in the QS world ranking and achieve good results.
QS Summit plays a key role in shaping the future of higher education and training a new generation of specialists ready to meet modern challenges.
