Current issues of the application of banking legislation: prospects and challenges

On November 5, 2024, a scientific seminar on "Topical issues of the application of banking legislation" was held at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the implementation of SDG 17 (Sustainable Development Goals). 
The seminar was held with the participation of the Deputy Dean for Academic, methodological and educational work S.E. Asanova, Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law G.A. Kuanalieva, as well as the teaching and professorial staff of the department. The event gathered an active audience of students who showed great interest in the issues discussed and actively participated in the dialogue with invited experts.
Invited guests — employees of RBK Bank Chakarova Asia and Amantai Zhanibek made presentations at the event. They explained in detail the key aspects and features of the application of banking legislation in modern conditions.
The presentations aroused great interest among students and teachers, who actively asked questions, interested in the nuances of banking regulation, as well as practical aspects of work in the banking sector. The participants asked many questions about banking regulation and current trends in this area. The event was held at a high level and facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience between students and specialists in the field of banking and law.
