On October 31, first-year Translation Studies students visited the Central State Museum for a spiritual and cultural enrichment activity. The event was organized by Raushan Tastanova, a teacher in the Department of Diplomatic Translation. This visit gave students the opportunity to become more familiar with Kazakhstan's rich historical and cultural heritage, which is particularly important in preparing them as future translators, interpreters capable of considering cultural contexts in their work. The tour covered several museum halls showcasing unique artifacts and historical documents that reflect various stages of the country's development. Students learned fascinating facts and the unique significance of each exhibit, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the cultural aspects essential for translation.
