Presentation of the "Zhastarmen" project initiated by the Prosecutor's Office of Almaty

05.11.2024 at the Faculty of Law, within the framework of the implementation of SDG No. 16 "Peace, Justice and effective institutions", a presentation of the project "Zhastarmen" was held, initiated by the Prosecutor's Office of Almaty and organized by the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics. During the presentation, the Official representative of the Almaty city Prosecutor's Office, 2nd grade lawyer Sharipbayev Rayymbek Almatovich and Senior Prosecutor of the Almaly district Prosecutor's Office, 2nd grade lawyer Beyimbet Madiyarom Kasymuly told the students in detail about the idea of the project and its significance for young people. The project is aimed at the prevention of offenses with the active involvement of students through educational and educational activities, aimed at strengthening legal awareness and improving legal literacy among students. It was emphasized that Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as the country's leading university, can play a key role in the effective development and scaling of this important project launched by the Almaty Prosecutor's Office and become a platform for students to communicate with representatives of law enforcement agencies, transfer valuable knowledge and experience, and carry out preventive measures.

Prosecutors stressed that young people are an important target audience, as timely information and legal education will help reduce the level of offenses. The students had the opportunity to ask their questions. The interest of young people in participating in such events and in creating a legal culture among students was noted. The meeting inspired the students to earnestly acquire knowledge and strive for professional and personal development.
