XVI Russian World Assembly

From November 1 to 4, 2024, in Moscow, the head of the Russian Language and Culture Center at  the Philological Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,  S. B. Begaliyeva took part in the XVI Assembly of the Russian World "Spiritual and Moral Values ​​of the Russian World", organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was awarded a medal and a diploma for its great contribution to the promotion of the Russian language and culture.

The XVI Assembly was held at a high level; representatives from 80 countries took part in it. On November 3,  2024, a round table discussion  was held dedicated to the work of Russian language offices and centers. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of the Foundation A. S. Alimov, the Executive Director of the Foundation,  V. V. Kochin and the Deputy Executive Director , T. V. Klychkova. Issues of promoting and popularizing the Russian language and culture were discussed.
