Students‘ visit to a farmers’ market

On November 7, 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Labor Law at Al-Farabi KazNU, Candidate of Legal Sciences Saule Raimovna Ermukhametova, along with 405th group students, visited a farmers' market to discuss important steps in the implementation of the 12 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The students got acquainted with natural and organic products, the work of local farmers, and environmentally friendly production methods.

The main goal of the event was to show students how the principles of sustainable development are applied in agriculture. The 12th SDG — "Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns" — is reflected in how farmers ensure food security while using eco-friendly methods and conserving natural resources.
