GUEST LECTURE WITH EMPLOYEES OF THE STATE REVENUE DEPARTMENT

On November 11, 2024, at 14:00, a guest lecture was held on the subject of "Tax Administration" for 4th-year students of the "Finance" educational program, led by the Head of the Department of "Finance and Accounting," Kerimbek Galymzhan Eskarauly, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 4, "Quality Education," Goal 8, "Decent Work and Economic Growth," and Goal 17, "Partnership for Sustainable Development."

The lecture was attended by Deputy Head of the State Revenue Department for Bostandyk District of Almaty, Aizhan Najmankyzy Albayeva, and Head of the Department for Non-Tax Payments and Individuals, Aset Zhakypovich Esenzhigitov.

During the session, discussions focused on the adoption and implementation of the new Tax Code in Kazakhstan, the digitalization of tax administration and control, and current innovations in tax policy. Students raised a number of pertinent questions, creating a strong feedback loop in the audience. A discussion was also held on attracting young people to tax administration and incentive measures.

The guest lecture proved to be very valuable and impactful for the students. Combining theoretical knowledge with the experience of professionals promotes increased interest and motivation among learners.
