As part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, on November 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM, the Faculty of International Relations, organized by Associate Professor B.Z. Buzeeva of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, held a round table titled “The Global Hunger Issue and Its Prevention.” The event included participation from first-year master’s students of the “Regional Studies” program and first- and second-year students of the “International Relations” program.
The event aimed to help students understand the scale of global hunger, analyze its manifestations worldwide, and encourage young people not to be indifferent to this issue and to contribute to the fight against it. During the event, students were informed about legislative and government measures to combat hunger and were invited to actively participate in addressing the issue. An intellectual game on hunger was organized among the students, allowing them to test their knowledge and gain new insights into this pressing issue.
