           On October 29, a roundtable was held with first-year students of the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics in Dormitory No. 4 as part of the "BOOKCLUB Farabi" initiative. The discussion focused on Neil Postman's book Amusing Ourselves to Death. During the event, students discussed the main issues raised in the book in detail and analyzed the impact of entertainment culture on modern society. Additionally, participants shared their thoughts on how entertainment influences our perception of information. This event fostered critical thinking skills among students and increased their interest in world literature.
