Development of Human Capital in a Rapidly Changing Labor Market

On 07.11.2024 at 14:00, in Auditorium 201, the Higher School of Economics and Business hosted a guest lecture on the topic: "Development of Human Capital in a Rapidly Changing Labor Market" by Sanjar Kikimov, a business analyst with the International Association of Financial Groups "Freedom Holding Corporation" in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Master of Political Science. The topic and issues discussed aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 17 – Global Partnership for Sustainable Development).
The lecture was attended by 1st-year undergraduates in the "6B04103 – Economics" program and 1st-year students in the "Finance" program. During the lecture, Mr. Kikimov addressed challenges in Kazakhstan's labor market, shared new technologies and approaches in human resource management, and introduced essential skills and competencies necessary for professional relevance and critical thinking. The lecture was engaging; undergraduates and students actively participated in discussions, sparking interest among all attendees.
