Guest lecture held at UIB

On November 13, 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of Customs, Finance and Environmental Law of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, candidate of legal sciences, Kuandykov Kaldarbek Zhunisbayuly, 15 of the Sustainable Development Goals - Goal: «Study of Law» at the International Business University named after K. Sagadiev within the framework of the protection of terrestrial ecosystems held a guest lecture entitled «Legal responsibility for violation of environmental legislation» to 3rd year students of the specialty. During the lecture, the concept and types of legal responsibility for violation of environmental legislation, criminal and administrative responsibility for violation of environmental legislation, as well as features of civil-legal and disciplinary liability for violation of environmental legislation were considered. K.Zh.Kuandykov explained in detail to the students the mechanisms of compensation for environmental damage and environmental damage caused to human life and health. He also touched upon the remediation issues in the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the end of the lecture, students presented their thoughts on the topic «Legal liability for violation of environmental legislation.
