ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT IN LOGISTICS

Sustainable development, which ensures a balanced interaction of environmental and economic aspects, is a reliable way to preserve the environment, efficient use of resources and create favorable conditions for the development of modern society. As we know that environmental logistics is a branch that combines the principles of rational use of resources, reduction of harmful impact on the environment and social responsibility. Modern society is facing growing problems related to environmental pollution, loss of natural resources and violation of ecological balance. In this regard, it is important for future graduates of the specialty “Logistics” to know how to develop and improve technologies and methods that will help minimize the negative impact on the environment.
An important point is the use of environmentally friendly vehicles and technologies in logistics. Electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as electric cargo vehicles, can reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. In addition, the use of modern cleaning systems for exhaust gasses and mechanisms for waste disposal reduce the environmental impact.
Within the framework of environmental logistics are implemented a variety of activities to implement the goal of sustainable development of the Department of “Business Technology” under the guidance of Associate Professor Kamali K.M., Beisenova M.U., Sartova R.B. and master's student Zhantassova Zaru organized an open session with students of the 4th year of specialty “Logistics”, aimed at minimizing the negative impact of logistics processes on the environment and ensuring sustainable development. One of the key aspects the students paid attention to was the issue of recycling and waste processing. They allow reuse of materials and reduce the consumption of new resources. Graduate students, future logistics specialists, actively discussed the topic given to them.
