THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS HOSTED AN EVENT ON UPDATING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS 4,5, 16, 17 ON THE EVE OF THE "SAY NO TO VIOLENCE" CAMPAIGN

On November 19, 2024, the Academic regional resource center for information support about the UN at the Faculty of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU held a meeting with highly qualified psychologist Zarina Abdieva, who shared valuable knowledge with participants on methods of preventing domestic violence.

During the event, topics such as violence against women, causes, introspection, and strategies for creating a healthier society were discussed in detail, which caused active discussions. The psychologist shared her professional views on these topical issues, provided practical advice, and answered students' questions. The meeting was held before the launch of the "Say No to Violence" campaign, dedicated to the World Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The event highlighted SDGs 4 - "Quality education", 5 "Gender equality", 16 "Peace, justice and effective institutions" and 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", contributing to real change and raising awareness among students.
