“Groundhog Day” Project: Transfer of the Chairmanship and Introduction of First-Year Students
On November 15, 2024, the “Groundhog Day” project was held in the Red Hall of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was organized by the “Komek” Public Fund. This project was of great importance for both the university and the faculty, as it included the annual report of Aigerim Mukhanbediar and the introduction of first-year students.
The “Groundhog Day” project became a unique initiative that raised important social issues. During the project, students showcased their talents and effectively presented the topic. They discussed relevant problems related to SDG 1: Eradicating poverty and SDG 3: Ensuring good health and well-being, demonstrating real-life examples of how these goals can be achieved.
At the end of the project, Aigerim Mukhanbediar handed over the position of chairperson to Abdulla Nurtugan. We wish Aigerim continued creative success and new achievements, and we are confident that Nurtugan will take the “Komek” Public Fund to new heights!
