Activists of the «Zhastarmen» project were awarded in Almaty

The House of Friendship hosted an award ceremony for students who showed activity and initiative within the framework of the «Zhastarmen» project, aimed at involving young people in the prevention of offenses and the development of legal awareness.

Almaty City Prosecutor Serik Karipbekov personally congratulated the participants, noting their contribution to strengthening law and order, and also stressed the importance of youth participation in such initiatives. Also, rectors of leading universities, heads of local executive and law enforcement agencies stressed the importance of youth initiatives in strengthening law and order and the formation of a legal culture.

The event brought together project participants, students from different universities, representatives of the academic community and public organizations. During the ceremony, students were awarded letters of thanks, certificates for annual free travel, tickets to cultural events and books. Among the awardees is a 2nd year student of the Law Faculty of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Andarbek Nurlan Yerlanuly. Thus, this event was a vivid confirmation that the university not only provides high-quality education, but also contributes to the formation of socially responsible and professionally trained lawyers who in the future will actively participate in strengthening law and order and protecting the legitimate interests of citizens.
