"The impact of drugs on health, well-being and society"

On November 22, 2024, within the framework of SDG-3 "Good health and well-being", an event was held on the theme "The impact of drugs on health, well-being and society". 
The meeting was organized by students of the 301 group of the Faculty of Law under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Labor Law A.A. Urisbayeva, together with teacher K.M.Tolkunova and students of the 11th grade of Gymnasium No.202.During the discussion on the topic “Good Health and Well-Being,” the negative consequences of drug use for human health, future prospects, and society were examined.

Objective of the event:
To explain to students the harm caused by drugs and to show that their use is a primary factor in destroying human lives.
Key topics discussed:
1.    Facts about drugs (harmful effects, addiction).
2.    Myths and reality: debunking misconceptions about “safe” drugs.
3.    Developing an action plan to prevent drug use among young people.
The mini-forum on “Good Health and Well-Being” contributed to strengthening mutual understanding and respect among students, university students, and teachers. We believe that this event plays a significant role in instilling proper values in young people and preventing harmful habits in the future.
