From November 1 to November 21 2024, at the Volgograd institute of management, a branch of the Russian academy of national economy and public administration under the President of the Russian Federation, an international online competition for the best pronunciation in English was organized at the linguistics and intercultural communication department. The students of the geography and environmental management faculty Abdrakhmanova Aida, Aryntai Alua, Andreeva Aknur, the 1st year students took part in the competition. Participants submitted for expert evaluation by the jury a video recording with expressive reading from excerpts of works by English-language authors, using musical accompaniment.
As a result of the competition, Abrahmanova A. took the first place.
A letter of thanks to the lecturer of the foreign languages department R. N. Balgabekova for the fruitful cooperation and preparation of the student Ulpan Korpebaeva in the international phonetic competition, who took 1st place.
