Ecology and Law: lecture by Zhumanazar Halmuminov to KazNU

On November 21, 2024, a leadership lecture was held at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi KazNU, which was conducted by Doctor of Law, Professor of Tashkent State Law University Zhumanazar Tashtemirovich Halmuminov. The event was held within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-13) and was dedicated to the topical topic "The state of the environment in Uzbekistan".

During the lecture, Professor Halmuminov highlighted in detail the key environmental problems faced by Uzbekistan, including climate change, soil degradation, water resources and measures taken to address them. Special attention was paid to the role of legal regulation and interaction between state and international structures in the field of environmental protection.

Zhumanazar Tashtemirovich stressed the importance of integrating the principles of sustainable development into public policy and the active participation of civil society in solving environmental problems. 

The lecture aroused great interest among students and teachers. The participants actively asked questions, discussing the possibilities of applying international experience in local conditions. This event became an important contribution to the educational process, raising awareness of participants about modern environmental challenges and ways to overcome them.
