Land is the main guarantee of attracting investments in the agricultural sector: scientific seminar  

On November 15, 2024, as part of the implementation of the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism" at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Aigarinova G. T. held a scientific seminar on the topic: "Land is the main guarantor of attracting investments in the agricultural sector". The event was organized in accordance with the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-15) and was dedicated to the protection and rational use of natural ecosystems.  

In her report, Professor Aigarinova G. T. discussed in detail the importance of preserving land and forest ecosystems, the role of legal regulation in protecting biodiversity and international experience in the field of environmental management. In addition, participants were provided with information on the achievements and problems of national legislation in the field of combating land degradation and effective management of natural resources.  

This topic aroused great interest among students and teachers and allowed them to discuss new ideas in the field of environmental legislation and nature protection. Such meetings contribute to strengthening the common efforts of society and educational institutions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
