
On November 23, 2024, an advisory session titled "Say No to Smoking" was held with first-year students of the Geodesy and Cartography program. The event was organized within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on ensuring health and well-being. Students discussed the harmful effects of smoking on health, the environment, and society. The environmental impact of tobacco production and its contradiction to sustainable living principles were also highlighted. Effective methods for quitting harmful habits were presented, and video materials were shown. Students actively expressed their views and supported the initiative to quit smoking. This event was a significant step toward building a healthier and more sustainable community.
