Startups, business ideas for graduates and artificial intelligence in recruitment

Associate Professor of the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Evidence-Based Medicine, PhD Ussatayeva G.M. at the invitation of the British Council and the Association of British Universities Graduates, attended a lecture by the famous Kazakhstani business angel and CEO of MA7 Angels Club, Elzhan Kushekbayev. The lecture was devoted to such issues as what is a start-up and venture, key participants in the venture ecosystem, AI in HR work. Elzhan Kushekbayev spoke in detail about the differences between start-ups and other types of entrepreneurship, what are their distinctive features, and pointed out their strengths and weaknesses. The lecturer also focused on such concepts as venture business, accelerator, and business angel. Of particular interest was the subtopic devoted to the use of AI in personnel selection. In addition to automation in interviewing and evaluating candidates, much attention is paid to the growth of the use of emotional AI to analyze employee mood, the use of AI for training and developing the organization's personnel.
