An event in the roundtable format titled “Almaty – Our Shared Home”

On November 29, 2024, at 5:00 PM, an event in the roundtable format titled “Almaty – Our Shared Home” was held as part of the 11th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) “Sustainable Cities and Communities” and the 15th SDG “Life on Land”. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Almaty City Youth Wing “Jastar Rukhy”, Sakhi Bekembai.During the event, he shared pressing issues facing the city of Almaty, posed questions for discussion, and called for joint efforts to improve and beautify our beloved city. A lively discussion ensued, during which engaging and productive ideas were presented.Additionally, the ecological state of the city was introduced, and potential solutions were proposed. A small quiz was organized for the guests, sparking discussions on interesting topics.
The roundtable was both insightful and thought-provoking for the students. Plans were developed to contribute to the care and development of Almaty as our shared home.
