On November 29, 2024, the senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Shokan Amangeldyuly Shortanbai, and PhD student of "8D02304 — Literary Studies" major Gulsim Tineybekkyzy Ametova, organized an excursion tour to Abylkhan Kasteev State Museum of Arts. The cadets of the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communication of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 3rd-year students of "6B02306 — Literary Studies" major of the Faculty of Philology of KazNU took part in the event.
The event was held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal 4: "Quality Education." The participants had the opportunity to engage with national culture and explore the museum's exhibits. The main objective of the event was to foster patriotism among young people, strengthen partnerships, and promote national values. During the tour, participants visited the Republican reporting exhibition "Dedication to the Generation" in honor of the 120th anniversary of Abylkhan Kasteev, the 100th anniversaries of Uki Azhiyev and Nagymbek Nurmukhamedov, and the 95th anniversary of Gulfairus Ismailova. The cadets and the students became acquainted with artworks and their histories. The event not only allowed participants to connect with art and culture but also contributed to strengthening friendly ties and cooperation between educational institutions. The meeting was held at a high level, and the collaboration between the two institutions will continue in the future.
