On November 29, 2024, the Center for German studies of the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a round table on the topic: "UN goal 4 in the field of Sustainable Development: effective and pragmatic policy of Germany in the framework of quality education". During the meeting, the activities of the Erasmus+ international higher education exchange program implemented by the center, universities in China and Japan in the global educational space were discussed. The participants and organizers were 2nd year master students of the educational program "International relations" and "Regional studies", who are undergoing research practice in the center: Amantaikyzy Z., Aidarazhy Z., Abdishukiruly D., Adamov T., Serikkazinov A., Keleshekova A., Koga C. and 4th year students taking courses of the country of specialization of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The participants discussed in detail presentations of priority directions of Kazakh-German educational space within the framework of the UN plan by Amantaikyzy Zere, and Aidar Serikkazinov, who passed the semester program on Erasmus+ program, as well as Aidarazhy Zhasan on the place of Chinese universities in the global educational space and Koga Chiaki a student from Japan, dedicated to the importance of international education in modern sustainable development in the development of human capital. The round table organized by the Director of the Center, Professor of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, Doctor of Historical Sciences M.S.Gubaidullina and Associate Professors of the Department, Candidates of Historical Sciences L.T.Issova and A.T.Kulbayeva, Head of the Department, PhD G.S.Baikushikova were at the level of excellent discussions by the participants.
