As part of the Sustainable Development Goals, a literary event “Abdijamil Nurpeisov - People's Writer” was held at the Department of Turkology and History countries of the East
As part of the Sustainable Development Goals, on December 2, 2024, the Department of Turkology and History countries of the East held a literary and musical event “Abdijamil Nurpeisov - People's Writer” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the USSR State Prize laureate, Kazakh classic writer Abdijamil Nurpeisov. The anniversary of Abdijamil Nurpeisov is widely celebrated in the Kyzylorda and Aktobe regions.
The event was organised by senior teachers of the department: curator-adviser Nazarova Aiym Zhamizhanova and Temenova Gulzada Kanatovna together with 3rd year students. The event was attended by the deputy head of the department for educational, methodological and educational work Khalel Agnur, the deputy head of the department for scientific and innovative activities and international relations Elnara Zilpikarovna Dulaeva, visiting professor of the department Savash Shahin, the teaching staff of the department, as well as master’s students and students.
The event began with a speech by 3rd year student Tomiris Jasynova about the life and work of Abdijamil Nurpeisov. Presentations on the novels “Blood and Sweat” and “The Last Duty” prepared by Mereke Zholymbek, Agnur Toletova were shown and an interesting game was played about the work of A.K. Nurpeisova. Sweets were distributed to the winners. Akerke Asan also read excerpts from Jadiger’s monologues in the novel “The Last Duty” and noted that the philosophical attitude of Nurpeisov’s characters to life, their personal drama are reflected and give the reader a special thought.
3rd year students carefully prepared for the literary and musical event and paid great attention to its celebration. The literary event ended with a screening of the film “Blood and Sweat.”
