Joint event of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty and the Al-Farabi Library

On December 3, 2024, a significant event took place at the first-floor foyer of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty, organized in partnership with the Al-Farabi Library. The event featured the presentation of books dedicated to the scientific activities of the faculty over the past five years. The attendees were introduced to works reflecting a wide range of research in mathematics and mechanics, conducted by both faculty members (PPS) and students of the faculty.
The presentation of the publications provided students and faculty members with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with new scientific works and better understand how the faculty's research contributes to the development of various scientific fields. The event sparked great interest and became a valuable source of information for all participants, as well as serving as an inspiration for further deepening scientific research and enhancing the quality of the educational process.
Special attention during the event was given to the connection between the faculty's scientific developments and the global sustainable development goals. The scientific work of the faculty directly supports SDG 4 "Quality Education", providing students and faculty (PPS) with the necessary knowledge and resources for development. The research conducted at the faculty is closely linked to SDG 9 "Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure", as the works in mathematics and mechanics contribute to the implementation of new technologies and solutions that have practical applications in industry and other sectors. It is also worth noting that the collaboration with the Al-Farabi Library is an example of the implementation of SDG 17 "Partnerships for the Goals", which enables the exchange of knowledge and resources for the realization of scientific and educational initiatives.
The Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty continues to actively develop its scientific activities, creating favorable conditions for fruitful work for students and faculty (PPS), as well as maintaining cooperation with leading scientific institutions and libraries. We are confident that such events not only contribute to the development of the faculty but also strengthen the connections within the scientific community, fostering further progress.
We wish all participants inspiration for new research, success in academic and scientific endeavors!
