Collaboration with Tripoli University

The Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the rector of Tripoli University (Lebanon), Dr. Rafat Al-Mikati.

The rector, visiting Al-Farabi University for the first time, was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Mrs. Em N.B.

During the meeting, Dr. Rafat Al-Mikati provided a detailed overview of the structure, faculties, and research centers of Tripoli University, as well as its educational programs, scientific achievements, and opportunities available for international students.

In turn, Dean Em N.B. introduced the guest to the teaching of Oriental languages at the faculty, highlighting its features and opportunities, and shared insights into the faculty’s daily activities.

Dr. Rafat Al-Mikati also met with professors and students from the Arabic Studies Department, discussing the teaching methods of the Arabic language, the textbooks used, language learning opportunities, students’ language proficiency levels, and future bilateral exchanges in science and education.

At the end of the meeting, the faculty dean expressed her gratitude to the rector and presented him with a special gift.
