Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all age

On December 05, 2024, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting of doctors of the city of Almaty with students of the Faculty of Law. The topic of the lecture is "Prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIS)". The purpose of the meeting is to explain to students the importance of preventing sexually transmitted infections (STIS). 

The presentations were made by dermatovenerologist Aitmukhanbet Diana Bolatkyzy, dermatovenerologist Svistunova Lolita Aleksadrovna, dermatovenerologist Omar Aigerim Bauyrzhankyzy. 

Dermatovenerologists talked about the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They also said that it is of critical importance for public health and the well-being of individuals. Untimely treatment of STIs can lead to serious, and sometimes irreversible, health consequences. It is important to understand how important prevention is and why it is necessary to take measures to protect yourself and your partners.

The students listened to the doctors' speech with great attention and interest. Such meetings are of great importance and are aimed at shaping a healthy lifestyle for young people.
