SDG 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation"

On December 3, 2024, for the purposes of SDG 6 "Clean water and sanitation" Associate Professor of the Department of "Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law" Tursynkulova D.A. visited the Samal waters water factory with students from group 108,109.

Source of drinking water is Samal. The well is located in the Turksib district of Almaty. On its way from the well to the bottling line, water undergoes a complex five-stage treatment, which includes mechanical purification, softening, filtration, molecular purification and ultraviolet disinfection. Samal water acquires its extraordinary fresh taste after enrichment with ozone. They carefully monitor the taste and chemical properties of water. Laboratory tests and water quality control are carried out daily.

Our goal is to pay attention to water issues and jointly convey to the society the importance of drinking water purity.

Our students saw how water is taken, purified and marketed.
