Join us for an online lecture on “Measuring the burden of NCDs” on December 17, 2024, 12:00 pm CET (German winter time). 

The lecture will cover global and national burden of disease concept; concepts of DALY, QALY, life expectancy; basic DALY/QALY calculations; studies on the burden NCDs; the most important GBD tools, platforms and virtual tools; appraisal of global and national burden of NCDs. The lecture will be presented by Prof. Hanna Saturska, Department of Public health and Healthcare management at Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Ukraine; Professorship of Public health and prevention at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, who currently leads research on Public health education in Germany.
