On December 6, 2024, at the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory of the Faculty of Philology there was an educational on the topic: «Book is Our Friend». It was organized by the third-year students majoring in Literary Studies and their curator-advisor, Shortanbay Shokan Amangeldyuly within the framework of SDG 4: «Quality Education ». The main goal of the event was to encourage young people to read books, to increase their interest in literature, and to highlight the importance of books in human life. At the end of the event, the participants shared their reading experiences and exchanged opinions about their favorite works. Such events play a significant role in deepening young people’s knowledge, broadening their horizons, and fostering a love for books. The «Book –is Our Friend» event left a profound impression on the students and will be remembered as a commendable initiative that further inspired their interest in books.
