Visit of representatives of the University of Grenoble-Alpes (UGA)

From 16 to 21 December 2024 there is a visit of representatives of the University of Grenoble-Alpes (UGA). This visit takes place within the framework of bilateral agreements between the Presidents of Kazakhstan and France: Kasym-Jomart Tokayev and Emmanuel Macron, on co-operation in the field of training in seismology. From the French side, the visit is attended by Agnes Bousset, Director of the Centre for Geoenergetics at Al-Farabi KazNU; Pascal Iigou, Director of International Relations at the Faculty of Science of UGA University, Professor of Geoscience (Tectonics and Geoscience) and Christian Xu, Professor of Crust and Geodynamics at UGA University. 
It is envisaged to meet with a team of professors from the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics and discuss the joint programme on seismology, visit to the seismic station of ‘National Scientific Centre for Seismological Observations and Research’ LLP and meet with representatives of this scientific institution.
