A guest lecture from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies was held within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) "Partnership for the Goals."

This guest lecture was organized in cooperation with the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. Professor Ulfatzon Mukhimova, Doctor of Philology, delivered a lecture entitled "The Influence of the Mahabharata on the Formation of Written Literature," and PhD, Senior Lecturer Nasiba Abduganieva presented a report on "The Influence of Indian Literature on Indonesian Folklore."
The topics discussed aroused great interest among the participants. The lectures were aimed at deepening the understanding of the historical and cultural interaction between different regions of Asia.
Faculty members and students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, including G.E. Nadirova, B.Sh. Batyrkhan, B.K. Bazarkulova, Z.E. Iskakova, S.A. Ismagilova, D.M. Kokeeva, and A.A. Eslyamgariyev, took part in the event. The uniqueness of the event was emphasized by an active discussion during which participants shared their thoughts and asked questions to the speakers.
This event was another step in strengthening scientific ties between educational institutions in Central Asia and developing intercultural dialogue, which fully corresponds to the goals of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Such initiatives contribute to deepening knowledge, expanding academic cooperation, and strengthening partnerships between universities in the region.
