Faculty of Oriental Studies Professors Receive Ministerial Awards

On December 25, 2024, as part of the 90th-anniversary celebration of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a solemn ceremony was held to honor the university's faculty members. Professors from the Faculty of Oriental Studies were among those recognized with prestigious ministerial awards for their outstanding achievements in education.

The awards were presented by the Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Natalia Zhumadildayeva, who attended the event specifically for this occasion.

The honorees include:

• Umitai Amirbekova, Associate Professor of the Department of Far East Studies, awarded the badge of honor "Y. Altynsarin";
• Amanzhan Arzykulov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sinology, and Samal Borankulova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Far East Studies, both awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of Education."

These accolades highlight the significant contributions of our colleagues to the field of education and reflect their professionalism and dedication.
