Completing an outstanding 90-year journey

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is a leading center of higher education and scientific research in Kazakhstan, which celebrates 90 years of its history. The main asset of the university are highly qualified teachers, professors and staff covering all fields of activity. All the achievements that the university has achieved over the years are the result of the well-coordinated work of its professional team.

With the active support of Rector J.K. Tuimebayev, the work of the university's teachers was highly appreciated, which was reflected in numerous awards at various levels. Recognition of the professional contribution of employees stimulates further development and improvement of the quality of scientific and educational work.

Lectures of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor K.K. Duskayev and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor R.G. Abdrakhimov were awarded medals of veterans in the field of education.
