      On December 21, 2024, first-year students of the Geodesy and Cartography program organized a roundtable discussion titled "Təuelsızdık Tugyrym" (My Independence) in the dormitory. The purpose of the event was to promote patriotism among students and emphasize the importance of Independence Day. During the meeting, participants discussed Kazakhstan’s path to independence. Key topics included the Alash Orda period, the December 1986 events, and the 1991 declaration of sovereignty. Students presented their prepared reports and analyzed historical events. Everyone shared their thoughts and asked questions related to the topic. The event involved active discussions, with participants sharing new insights. Active students showcased their in-depth knowledge of historical facts. This meeting strengthened participants’ views on their country’s history and future. The event was spiritually enriching and contributed to the development of patriotism.
