On December 11, a workshop-lecture was held for students and master’s students of the Faculty of International Relations. It featured A.D. Shinkaruk, Director of the “Changing the World” Center for Supporting Socially Significant Projects and Analyst at the “Knowledge Diplomacy” Consulting Center for NGOs of RSUH, and A.E. Bogachyov, Head of International Affairs at the “Knowledge Diplomacy” Consulting Center for NGOs of RSUH.

The speakers provided information on competitions available for Kazakhstani organizations, the fundamentals of social project design, grant writing, key project elements, challenges, and opportunities for obtaining support, as well as the process of preparing for grant competitions. Examples of international grant projects were reviewed, and major Russian foundations offering grant support were presented, including the Gorchakov Foundation, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Russian Science Foundation, and the “Eurasia — Continent of Opportunities” grant competition.

The event was organized by the Center for Eurasian Studies, the Center for German Studies, and the Department of International Relations and World Economy.
