Winter school with the participation of foreign students

From 23 January to 3 February 2025, the winter school titled 'The Role of Turkey in the Culture and Education of Central Asian Countries' will be held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, under the auspices of the 'Sustainable Development Goals' (SDG) project (partnership for achieving goals). The winter school is organised by the professors and lecturers of the Department of Turkic Studies and Eastern Countries.

The winter school involves participation from Istanbul University of the Republic of Turkey, Ege University, Ankara University, Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Selçuk University, Anadolu University, and others. Approximately 40 university students will attend the 10-day winter school course. Lectures on the history, culture, literature, political climate of Kazakhstan, and cooperation among Turkic peoples will be delivered to Turkish students.
