The Academic Regional Resource Center for Information Support on the UN Discusses a New Strategy for Promoting 17 SDGs

On January 24, 2025, the Academic regional resource center for information support about the UN at the Faculty of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU held a meeting of activists. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans for the new semester and identify key areas of the Center's work.

The Director of the Center, Leila Delovarova, and the coordinators, second-year students, presented the tasks for the upcoming period, emphasizing the importance of integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the Center's activities. Special attention was paid to discussing current initiatives such as educational programs, promotions, and round tables aimed at raising students' awareness of global challenges. The possibilities of involving first-year students who will be able to bring new ideas and strengthen the Center's team were considered. The participants expressed their willingness to work actively and productively to develop the Center and promote the values of the UN among the student audience. As a result of the event, a work strategy was approved, the importance of teamwork was emphasized, and the understanding was strengthened that only through joint efforts can goals be achieved.
