The Kazakhstan Pushkiniana opened in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On January 24, 2025, the director of  “Russian Language and Culture” Center  of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Saule Bayazovna Begaliyeva and the  Master of Social Sciences, Senior Lecturer Saule Temirbayevna Isaliyeva,  the students and  the adviser Asem Sailauova (Department of Russian Philology and World Literature), took part in the opening of “Kazakhstan Pushkiniana” international project which took place in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was organized by the representative office of Rosssotrudnichestvo  in Almaty.

The project  partners, the Federation of Racing Drivers of Kazakhstan and the  actors of N. Sats Theatre, were presented at the meeting, and the  tickets for  “Ruslan and Lyudmila” play  were raffled off. In  the honor of Students' Day, publications consisting of  the works by  the famous authors,  the winners of literary awards, encyclopedias, colorful albums, etc. were donated to the Book Corner of Russia.

In the  honor of Abai’s  180th anniversary his poems were read in five languages. The event was covered by the republican media and TV. At the end of the meeting, the Kazakhstan Pushkiniana was declared open.
