Within the framework of the SDG “Partnership for Sustainable Development”, representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies took part in a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Republic Day of India

On January 27, 2025, the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a solemn meeting dedicated to the Republic Day of India. The event, held in Almaty, became a vibrant celebration that brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, faculty members, students, and guests.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan, the Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, and other distinguished guests. The atmosphere of the event was filled with joy and friendship, and the participants shared their warm appreciation and respect for Indian culture and traditions.

The cultural program featured performances of Indian and Kazakh national dances, symbolizing the friendship and cultural exchange between the two countries.
