The Role of Law Enforcement Agencies in Ensuring Road Safety: A Meeting with Representatives of the Bostandyk District Police Department

Today, a meeting of 3rd-year students of the educational programs "6B12301 Law Enforcement" and "6B04205 Jurisprudence" with representatives of the Bostandyk District Police Department was held. The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Bostandyk District Police Department, Police Colonel Toktybaev K.A., Senior Inspector for Educational and Personnel Policy, Police Lieutenant Colonel Kashkinbaeva Zh.R., Senior State Traffic Inspector of the Administrative Police Department, Police Lieutenant Igisinov M.O., as well as the District Police Inspector of the Local Police Service Department of the Bostandyk District Police Department, Police Lieutenant Sherim D.O. During the meeting, the speakers told the students about the specifics of service in various departments of the internal affairs agencies, about the daily tasks of law enforcement officers, and also shared information about the procedure for entering the service, requirements for service discipline, and guarantees of social protection for employees. Particular attention was paid to the current topic of compliance with the Traffic Regulations, in the context of an increase in the number of car accidents and increased traffic intensity. The importance of improving road safety and responsibility for compliance with traffic regulations became the central issue of discussion.
