The Chinese Studies Department celebrated the Chinese Spring Festival

On January 30, 2025, the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies held an event called "Chinese Spring Festival" dedicated to the Chinese New Year (春节), organized by the senior lecturer of our department Kaliolla Ardak. and the teacher of the department Amanturlieva A.S. within the framework of the Silk Road Circle. The event was attended by 1st-year students of the specialty "Translation Studies". During the event, the students got acquainted with the Chinese Spring Festival, and also held a master class on the Chinese tea ceremony, Chinese poetry and Chinese paper art (剪纸), during which the students made Chinese lanterns. The students were very pleased and got acquainted with the culture of China.
