The Winter School of the Department of Chinese Studies Successfully Concluded

On January 30, 2025, the Department of Chinese Studies successfully completed its Winter School for students of N.P. Ogarev Mordovia State University (Russia). More than 50 students participated in this educational program, which was conducted online.

The course, titled "The Great Silk Road and Kazakhstan: History, Culture, and Connections," was designed based on the preferences of Russian students. The program attracted significant interest among international participants, particularly in topics related to Kazakh history, culture, and traditions.

During the course, students learned about the role of the Great Silk Road, the beliefs of the Kazakh people, their national cuisine, traditional clothing, and games.

Students of Mordovia State University highly appreciated the organization of the program and expressed their desire to participate in similar events in the future.
