AN EXTENDED MEETING OF THE FACULTY ACADEMIC COUNCIL TOOK PLACE

An extended meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences was held. The following issues were discussed on the Agenda:

- Improving the reputation and ranking of the university in international rankings: coordinating work between departments and academic experts and employer experts; active work with employers-experts on the academic part within the QS ranking to improve the university's position.

- Results of the examination session of the autumn semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and other issues, including the development and inclusion in the register of three-year educational programs (bachelor's degree). The reports were made by the Dean of the Faculty A. Aktymbaeva, Deputy Dean for Education, Management and World Studies A. Shaken. After the reports, a question and answer session was held, the questions asked by the faculty touched on the topics of foreign internships, publication activity.
